The 6th
Battalion has today moved to the Hohenzollern Left Sector on the old Loos battlefield,
relieving the 2nd Battalion, York and Lancaster Regiment in the front line. The
weather, they report, is quite bad as there has been a very heavy fall of snow.
“Gentlemen in England now a-bed” should think of these conditions and be
thankful for their ease.
