1st Battalion,
Bedfordshire Regiment is now in billets at Visnadello after their first spell
in the front line on the River Piave. Today they have been cleaning up,
changing clothing and equipment. The adjutant noted in his wire that last night
enemy aircraft bombed in the vicinity of the village, so even well behind the line
they are liable to suffer attack.
