Wednesday 14th April 1915:
At present the 1st Field Company, East Anglian Royal Engineers, attached to 2nd
Division, are constructing dugouts and repairing trenches in the area of
Givenchy-lès-la-Bassée. Today they have received substantial reinforcements of
thirty new sappers and ten new drivers from England
