The Bedfordshire Yeomanry in France



Thursday 10th June 1915: The Bedfordshire Yeomanry docked safely at le Havre in the early hours of this morning. Disembarkation is due to commence at 9 am and the regiment will proceed to No. 5 Rest Camp. They will form part of 9th Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, along with: 15th (The King’s) Hussars; 19th (Queen Alexandra’s Own Royal) Hussars; 1st/1st Warwickshire Battery, Royal Horse Artillery and 9th Signal Troop, Royal Engineers.
