Saturday 23rd December 1916: From our Correspondent in the Field
The adjutant
of the 8th Battalion told me this morning that the Corps Commander presented
Military Cross ribbons to Captain J E Black, Royal Army Medical Corps, the
Medical Officer and Lieutenant W J Holbrook. He also presented Military Medal
ribbons to Privates Aston, Nottingham and Thurgrove.
